My dance school, Shrraddhanjali, is based in Chennai. I handle both Bharatanatyam and Nattuvangam classes online and in person. I am Bhagavathula Seetarama Sharma Sir's nattuvangam disciple.
I am passionate about teaching and value sincerity in learning too. I encourage students to understand the nuances as they learn and be wholesome dancers equipped with the capability to teach as opposed to just learning the choreography. I would like to share my love for the art form with those similarly inclined.
I begin teaching from the basics and can train students for their Arangetrams and Recitals and even encourage students to learn to choreograph. The theory aspect is given equal importance. My students regularly undertake Grade examinations and certification courses in Bharatanatyam, diplomas in Nattuvangam, graduation and post graduation and M.Phil in Bharatanatyam conducted by various well known and recognized institutions and universities in both Practicals and Theory and get certified by them.
I am highly committed and would like students who crave to learn dance and Nattuvangam and experience the joy in dancing and conducting a recital.

    I have had the pleasure of being associated with a school that nurtures the knowledge of classical art forms and have trained the students in the same. I have choreographed and staged many productions including Luva Kusha, Krishnam Vande Jagatgurum, Bhavayami Raghuramam, Kannagi, Dasavataram, Skandha Vaibhavam, Pallaki Seva Prabandam, Sambhavami Yuge Yuge, and many more.

    I have had the unique experience of teaching the classical art form to children with special needs. This made me understand and expand my teaching methodology to include these children who were overjoyed with the opportunity to learn Bharatanatyam and they, in turn, made me so proud with their performances.

    Teaching Bharatanatyam has been my passion for 21 years. Shrraddhanjali was instituted by my mother and guru, Smt. Madhuri Balram in 1993. I continue to teach at Shrraddhanjali and have trained many students who have performed in various temples, sabhas, televisions shows and competitions where they have prizes, acclaim and brought credit to the dance school and themselves through their performances. Preparation for Arangetrams and Recitals, Nattuvangam training from the very beginning, a thorough understanding of the theory of Bharatanatyam are all inculcated in the students. The joy of dancing is what I try to pass on to the student.
