I am a Violinist with over 20 years of experience performing globally, specializing in the Carnatic Music tradition. I have trained under renowned mentors including Sri. Nedumangad Sivanandan, Prof. Abdul Aziz, and Sri. Vittal Rangan. I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in Music and Acoustic Engineering in Milan, Italy.

In recognition for my contributions, I have received the CCRT Scholarship from the Cultural Wing of the Indian Government. My performances have taken me across India and internationally to countries such as New Zealand, Malaysia, and Kuwait. In addition to traditional Carnatic music, I compose and perform across various genres, with my work reaching listeners in over 150 countries and amassing over six million plays online.

I offer online classes via Skype for students with prior experience in either music or violin. Lessons are conducted in English or Malayalam and adhere to the Carnatic Music tradition. Students will receive all necessary exercises and materials free of cost, and I incorporate technology to enhance the learning experience. Classes are one hour long, and students are expected to practice diligently to make the most of their learning journey.

Exceptional teacher as well as extremely patient and understanding

I have been learning carnatic violin under Madhav sir for almost 8 months.I required a lot of corrections technically as well as theoretically.However,he was patient enough to help me through it all.He made me understand the value of having my basic foundation strong and intact.His crystal clear explanations and simple teaching methods have made me a better violinist,something which happened way sooner than I had expected.Also,the audio and video quality almost completely covered the absence of not meeting in person.After 8 months ,I am totally satisfied with the best that I have got.For all this,I will be grateful forever and beyond.

A great violin teacher

I have been a student of Madhav for almost two years now. My age and lack of musical knowledge made me really nervous in the beginning. However, Madhav made me feel very comfortable and has been very patient. He is available to answer your questions outside scheduled sessions as well. He is extremely knowledgeable and consistently makes practical suggestions to improve my playing. His audio and video set up deserves special mention. High call quality almost transcends the geographical barrier. I highly recommend Madhav!

Very professional, highly skilled and efficient teacher

Me and my 5 th grader son have been learning carnatic violin from Madhav sir for the past 1.5 years.
He is young and energetic and doing an amazing job of putting the base very strong.
My son is able to play his favorite his songs just by listening it.
He is very patient and flexible and teaches according to the age and level of the student.
His Audio and video quality is very good that all his renditions are crystal clear over Skype.
All materials for lessons are very well written.
He takes the class in English very fluently so language is not a barrier for us.
In short,We are truly blessed to have him as our teacher.
I STRONGLY Recommend him !!!
