I have been teaching for the last 20 years . I am also a Literacy Tutor. Language is definitely a passion of mine, one thing I love about language is that there is always something new to learn, even for fluent speakers. I like to teach, using different resources, ensuring the classes are varied and interesting. I know the different challenges that learning a language can bring and I truly understand that everyone has their own learning style and each individual learns at their own pace. My greatest strength is my ability to understand and meet the needs of individual students. I possess a great problem solving attitude and ability to counsel students in overcoming their educational obstacles.
I have been planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of English classes, marking, checking and moderating work and giving appropriate feedback to students. I have prepared students for external examinations both IB and IGCSE.
