I am Sooraj Krishna from Kerala.
Welcome to anyone who has an interest and passion to learn music.
I am ready to teach online class any day. My class is one hour long. My teaching style is very friendly, and in a simple way includes Malayalam light music and classical music. I have been teaching classical music at Tripunithura Poornathraya Balasramam for 10 years. I teach Sarali Varisais,
Madhyasthayi Varisais, Melsthai Varisais, Janta Varisais, alankaram, geetham,varnnam,keerthanam,light music, classical film music, light film music, competition music, etc.
My students are very happy with my teaching style. They received prizes in light music from their school. So I'm proud of my teaching style. I have been running a film music stage program in Kerala for the last 10 years.

A good teacher and a blessed musician

I am currently in Australia and was searching for a classical music teacher to continue my classes. I studied classical music almost 10 years but there was some gaps in between. So I need a tutor to restart my music journey. I searched too many profile and found Sooraj Sir who have a very good review and rating. So I contact him and told my needs and he start my classes from the very next week. He is so patient also, very friendly person and always happy to help. I strongly recommend him, if someone need to learn classical music from the begining, intermediate or advanced.

Excellent teacher

Great understanding of music and also the experience a d expertise to teach at different levels and age . He has been very patient , and articulating to make sure I understand the differences of where I am and where it should be when it Comes to swaras etc . Excellent and highly recommend

Great tutor with easy to follow online zoom sessions!

Really enjoying my classes. I was looking for someone who could teach basics of playback singing online since I live in USA. Based on the reviews I contacted Sooraj Krishna. He understood my needs and is providing customized lessons to reach my goal. The classes are based on Carnatic music theory.
It is also interesting to note that Sooraj's superb teaching skills makes the complex Carnatic music very easy to follow and exciting. Please also check out his youtube channel to hear his great voice !

Extremely good teacher and a great vocalist

We live in U.S. and was looking for an online music teacher for my son. He has started taking lessons from Mr. Sooraj for the past couple of weeks and it has been extremely worth it. I just wish we knew him earlier. We are happy with his style of teaching. Mr. Sooraj gives a great deal of attention to every mistakes the student makes and guides him in the proper direction. He is extremely patient with him. We are extremely happy with him and will recommend to anybody who is looking to improve their music skills.

Exceptional vocalist and teacher!

I am currently residing in the USA and learning Carnatic and light music as a hobby. I have approached Sooraj sir, a gifted vocalist and highly knowledgeable and skilled teacher for the lessons. He understood my abilities and interests well and adjusted his classes accordingly. For the last two months, I have been taking classes, and I can feel what a difference these classes have made. Every time I come across a lesson, that feels frustrating or confusing, he finds an innovative way to tackle it or explain it. In addition to teaching music, he gave me a lot of tips to improve my voice quality. The scheduling flexibility is great as a busy person trying to learn vocal as a hobby.

Attend one of his classes, and I am sure you will not look for another guru!

Teaches perfect way

I feel Sooraj sir is very expert in teaching carnatic music. He have various methodologies to teach according to the voice of the student. He knows what kind of training needs to give for each and everyone according to their voice. He is very friendly and also provides various tips and techniques to improve the voice. I am very glad to got a guru like Sooraj Sir.
