Mr. Banibrata Mitra is a versatile & a great teacher with North Indian Shastriyo Sangeet back ground, as well as specialized in West Bengal’s Rabindra Bharati Musical tradition. He teaches multitudes of raagas & various songs. He teaches the raagas in details first upon which the song is based. He also teaches how to play harmonium. For any student of music this is a wonderful way of learning different aspects of music which is practically as vast as an ocean. He not only loves music but also loves to teach music & as a teacher this is as important as teacher’s depth of knowledge in the particular subject. I highly recommend him for any student from beginner to intermediate to expert level who aspires to become better in pursuit of being a great musician.

My association with Mr Banibrata to learn music is since past four months and my journey of learning music is continue.
Mr Banibrata is very skilful , sincere and knowledgeable music teacher with passion to teach music. He always encourages during the phase of learning with a lot of patience. He have the art and skill to teach music .
I highly recommend him as music teacher . I feel grateful to my teacher and hope that my journey of learning music with him will continue .

Mr Banibrata is an excellent teacher with great knowledge in music. He has systematic and unique way of teaching. He has lots of patience while teaching his students. He provides sufficient materials before the class and checks previous class details regularly. I'm learning Rabindra Sangeet, classical music, bhajans,Najrul Geeti, from him..He is a very good teacher, who understands students weaknesses and takes care of it..He also teaches everything minutely, until the point the student understands. I had never thought musical knowledge can be gained online but , he has made it so easy..I would highly recommend Mr Banibrata Mitra..

Banibrata is an excellent classical Indian Music teacher. He is patient, and has a lot of experience in teaching. I recommend him fully if you are looking for a music teacher. He is always in a no rush mode which makes you feel comfortable and makes you to try to learn from him on the spot as much as possible. He is also very down to earth, and tells you theories and histories behind any particular raagas. Music is in his heart and he surely can transpose it to his students.

Learning music from Banibrata has been a wonderfully pleasant experience for me.

He has a calm presence with a sharp mind and ear to detail. The keenness he shows to his music teaching is demonstrated by his presence for online classes on the dot as promised and his lessons are well planned in advance. For example, the day before the lesson I would get to know what I need to prepare in terms of notes, so the least amount of time is spent on writing and more time is spent on singing.

He has been extremely generous with his time, he would spend extra time even after the end of the lesson honing on a particular skill or getting something correct, or through listening to my recorded audio that I would send for him to listen and correct my mistakes.

Further, at the end of each lesson, he would send an audio file with the recording for what was thought during the lesson, which I would used to practice during the week. I did not know what to expect from online music teaching but thus far what I have received has far exceeded my expectations and I know that this bond would last for a long time in the future. I have found a passionate, reliable and a very knowledgeable teacher in Banibrata.

Banibrata sir, একজন অসাধারণ শিক্ষক আমি তো just বলবো Awesome, Superb sir.. এতো clearly /পরিষ্কার ভাবে বোঝান একেবারে close friend এর মতো.. কোনো অসুবিধে হলে কিছু বেশি সময় দিয়েও problem solve করেন... কোনো কিছু clear না হওয়া পর্যন্ত তিনি সেটাকে ছাড়েননা !আমি Banibrata sir কে আমার দিক theke 5 out of 5 star দিবো you are a god gifted sir.. I would like to highly recommend Banibrata Mitra as a music teacher for you or for your children. Banibrata is a gifted singer and he has very natural yet articulative way of teaching. He is very patient, pays very close attention to students learning capabilities and based on that he formulates the class format for the student.
Banibrata is really passionate about music and more importantly he is a very passionate about teaching.
One thing I observed in him is that his capability to transfer the love and joy of music to his student very subtly, without the student being very aware of it. The outcome of it is that the student naturally becomes more interested in music.
The way he designs the lesson plan for his students is not only beneficial for the students but also enjoyable as well.
I am really happy and grateful to him for everything he taught me and definitely brought joy of music in my life.
