After 12 lessons with Fousiya, I am very happy and would recommend her lessons to anyone wanting to learn spoken Malayalam. She is very adaptable and can arrange lessons at a convenient time for me, working around my busy schedule at the hospital and with the time difference between UK and India. She keeps her lessons well structured, starting with textbook-based exercises and then moving on to understanding simple Malayalam stories by asking me to listen and then repeating the outline of the story speaking in Malayalam. She is encouraging, friendly and gives good feedback on my progress throughout lessons. She sets me speaking exercises to practice as homework in between sessions. She also makes notes during sessions to help build my vocabulary and sends these notes to me after the session.
