I generally teach Bengali with an interesting process.I dont use just lecture method, i use ppt, sound technology to grow the students' learning interest. I usually provide them charts, hand notes, photocopies.I teach them grammar with proper methodology and guide them with authentic source.
In case of Bengali poetry, I use to describe the poets' life first, then gradually enter in the context of that particular poetry, thus students get involved in the text. I like to share vivid knowledge on each difficult term, which students face during reading. Overall, I always try to grpw their vocabulary and language skill.
