Wide experience in delivering Math subjects for different levels. Leading and managing the mathematics department including, modeling best practice in mathematics teaching, implementation of the curriculum. Monitoring achievement of students and the effectiveness of teachers, dealing with all operational, budgeting and recordkeeping requirements and ensuring fair and effective assessment procedures. Ensuring continued innovation in the teaching of mathematics. Providing opportunities for enrichment for gifted students and oversee all out of hours mathematics related learning. During my practical experience throughout 18 years in teaching mathematics and supervision as well, I believe that there are core beliefs about teaching and learning should be considered. - Teaching is a holy and humanitarian message not only a profession to get money. - There is no stupid student. - No student left behind. - All students are equal. - Teacher organizes and the student learns. - Learning should have some fun. - Differentiation between cultures of the students should be considered.
