If you are in need of a TEF trainer and you are serious about your goal, I highly recommend Bala. She has been my online French tutor for the last 10 months, and I can honestly say that my lessons with Bala have been one of the best investments of both time and money I have ever made. The feeling of confidence I now have in clearing my test is priceless. For each lesson, she provides handouts ( her handouts are the best) and lots of tests until I understood the concept clearly. She follows strict pattern and stay focused on it, that is the best thing for a person like me who gets distracted often. Her objectives are clear and well planned out. Bala possesses that amazing quality found only in the best educators, the ability to instil confidence in a student while correcting a mistake. For n number of times I have used the wrong expression or butchered the language, not one time have I felt inept as Bala modelled the correct response and explained how to correct the mistake. For that, I am truly grateful and appreciative. She also invites her friends (native French speakers from different part of France) to class to give you the confidence to speak and understand different accent of French. I highly recommend Bala as a TEF trainer. If you want to clear your TEF test, Bala is the teacher who will get you there. I will come back as soon as I give my exam to share my results with you all!

It’s been only 3 months since I’ve been studying French under Bala, and yet I feel I’ve come a long way in my understanding of the language. Her enthusiastic and positive approach coupled with her extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of all things French ensure that her students continue to receive progressive learning outcomes from each session. Another praiseworthy fact I learned about studying with her is that she doesn’t stick to one-plan-fits-all strategy. Instead she makes the effort to customize your study plan as per your individual goals and deadlines. I cannot emphasize enough just how crucial this is because even though it’s a language class, everyone has different needs. She devised a plan that was tailored to my needs and she delivered (and continues to deliver) exactly that. There are plenty of routine hand-outs and revision exercises that she prepares for practice and discussion. Seeing her dedication, there’s no doubt that she loves teaching and genuinely cares about how her students are progressing with each topic. I’m based in Australia, and I feel so much grateful for the Internet for I can connect with brilliant teachers like Bala and further my knowledge in anything really. Not only have I found a great teacher in Bala, I feel I’ve found a very nice friend too. We often have conversations about random things post class. I believe that she paves the way for her students (like she does for me) to connect with a new language instead of loading them with information to cram. Her lively personality injects great energy into our sessions and keeps me motivated and happy about studying something new. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to learn French to study under Bala as she would make the whole learning process a truly rewarding experience.

I am based in the USA and have been taking Beginning Spoken Hindi lessons with Bala for 3 months now, 2x per week. Bala is one of the most patient teachers I've ever had. She never minds repeating something, pausing, or answering questions because her biggest concern is that you are learning. She produces her own extremely helpful, high quality hand-outs for each class which I keep on file to review between classes. She is realistic and understands we have busy lives, so she doesn't expect students to do much work in-between classes. The expectation is to learn & memorize through practice in her classes. She also cared about getting to know me as a person and customized some of our learning, like suggesting and talking about Hindi films when she found out I liked them. After just this short amount of time we've covered almost all grammar and quite a bit of vocabulary, so we are starting to focus more on listening comprehension where she's brought in recordings and plans to bring in friends later. Living in the US I was also really appreciative of how flexible Bala is with her schedule given the time difference. Bala is such a kind and dedicated instructor, I cannot praise her enough! A++++. If you want to learn Hindi with no prior experience, look no further!

When I said Bala that I want to speak Hindi, which I am struggling for long time. But the training she had given really gave me the confidence to start speaking. Major plus I liked is she never get bored to correct our mistakes even the same mistake. Not but the least the notes and the curriculum she developed is one the best thing, which I loved the most.

I'm starting a new project in a few weeks and needed to learn Hindi super-fast ( I had three months time). Bala, not only taught me what I needed to know, she actually got me excited conversing using this language (the language I have been avoiding my whole life)! In the past, tutors have overwhelmed me with too much information, but what I loved about working with Bala is that she is completely dedicated, extremely prepared, systematic, gave a strong foundation on grammar which would never allow any student to speak wrong.
