Physicist and Nobel Laureate Richard Feynman said "There is a difference between the knowing the name of something and knowing something itself". Usually I try to learn things by knowing what is happening rather than mugging up the idea or mathematical equations, which helps me recollect things after a period of time and also helps explain concepts heuristically to my Classmates whenever they needed.
