I am 25 year experienced retired Professor of Chemistry with PhD in Chemical Technology with specialisation in technology of pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai and worked in drugs manufacturing industry for several years. Later, out of my passion for teaching and research, I shifted to academics teaching MSc and BSc chemistry in a college. For the last five years, I am teaching students online quite successfully
I follow an interactive method of teaching chemistry which is well appreciated by students both in India and abroad. Topics at PG and U G level in organic chemistry like stereochemistry, conformational analysis, spectroscopic methods of structural elucidation of organic compounds, pericyclic reactions, how to write organic reaction mechanisms were well accepted by students. My industrial experience in drug manufacturing could make the students understand the topics from a practical point of view.
Besides, online teaching of general chemistry to 10th to 12th students had been my passion for the last 4 years
I had my graduation in organic pharmaceutical chemistry (medicinal chemistry) and pharmacy students are also taught on the concept of drug design.
I do cover much of the curricula followed in many countries since I teach JEE aspirants, AP students in US, IB students, GCSE in UK. I have taught organic chemistry to 5 US students this year.In addition students are equipped for NEET exam. This gave me exposure to all possible questions in chemistry for competitive exams.
