4. Conduct individual interviews with persons of concern to UNHCR and local actors, in order to identify
their needs, find possible solutions, identify gaps in programs and services. Complete interviews
with situation analyses and group discussions;
5. In collaboration with partners and service providers, prepare operational procedures (steps to be followed), Standardized (SOPs) for prevention and response to the SGBV, which describe the coordination agreements, the corridors of information services and mechanisms;
6. With partners, set up a coordination mechanism such as an SGBV working group, Co-chairmanship and coordination the working group on sexual and gender-based violence in the North;
7. Establish a management system for SGBV cases;
8. Establish specific procedures for working with child survivors of GBV.
9. Develop a monitoring and evaluation framework for SGBV programs and integrate it into protection programming.
10. Provide training on the prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse of persons of concern to UNHCR
to all UNHCR staff as well as to the staff of its partners.
11. Provide training to UNHCR staff and partners to ensure they fully understand the SGBV SOPs.
12. Communicate with service providers to ensure that the services they provide to SGBV survivors are at high quality and meet basic standards of survivor care.
