Akintola Ameer Olanshile is an Islamic Studies educator and researcher with a strong academic foundation from Lagos State University, where he graduated with first-class honours and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Islamic Studies. Specializing in Islamic Finance, Jurisprudence, Islamic History, and Contemporary Studies, Ameer brings both expertise and fluency in Arabic to his teaching, allowing students to engage deeply with classical texts.
His teaching experience includes roles at Telly Da’wah College, where he taught English, Literature-in-English, Arabic, and Islamic Studies, as well as at Ma’had Da’watis Salam, covering subjects such as Fiqh, Usūl Fiqh, Hadith, Nahw, and Sīrah/Tārīkh. During his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year, he served as an Assistant Lecturer at Lagos State University, delivering courses on Fiqh, Qur’an, Islamic History, and Hadith.
