Currently studying English in the IB, I have a good understanding on analytical writing. As I have attended the Summer Writing Institute at Rhodes College, I am also well-versed in creative writing, currently working on a poetry anthology and two novels, with several completed short stories.
My approach to the English language is like a formula, something that can be applied in a variety of contexts and is easy to learn. This is ideal for academic writing, but works at all levels of learning English, and in some ways can be applied to creative writing.
At a beginner level, I can communicate with the student in French, Hindi, and Spanish to get a better understanding of English grammar, pronunciation, practice, and vocabulary. At the intermediate level, I help with conversational practice, common sayings, and improvement of skills in writing and reading.
At the more advanced level, I can offer feedback, commons, and mini-lessons on academic writing and a more formal lexicon.
As for creative writing, I can proofread, offer valuable feedback, and comment on the use of literary devices to strengthen any themes. This also varies from fiction, fantasy, memoir, or any form of non-fiction.
I specialise within younger years, preferably before secondary or high school. (Ages up till 13, however it isn't strict.)
