My mom was a teacher and I inherited a lot of social teaching methodologies that helped create a deep relationship between the teacher and the taught. A student needs the proper tool to probe into the depths of the subject he learns. Enabling him to find his way is the task of a real teacher. An able teacher can get to his level and start shaping or developing him into the required growth. The level of each student in a subject may be different than a teacher has to go down. Whatever is explained by a reacher to a mismatched student, the whole lecture will be a waste, like pouring water over an upturned utensil. All the efforts of the teacher are futile as the student hardly gets anything. This is where he needs the right kind of teacher who can help him to the right path.
There are such born teachers who are the light bearers of education and can kindle the light far and wide.
Let me do the same as my duty, as well.

  • English language teacher. (May, 1979–Mar, 1986) at Six years' experience as a teacher in Welcome College, Varapuzha.
    I started my teaching career for students in High School classes, engaging in teaching their prescribed English lessons and grammar. I focused on classes 8, 9 and 10.
    The main course conducted in the college was the tutorial classes for the failed students in class 10. Those who wanted to reappear for the exam for a second time came to join our classes. It was a crash program for them to struggle for four months to make use of the chance given by the State Education Board. That was a golden chance for them to come out with flying colours.
    I was able to discharge my duties quite effectively and was admired by all. Therefore, I am confident that I will be able to perform my duties to the satisfaction of all.
