With a strong academic background and practical teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students excel in English, Chinese, and Math. Currently a student of Development Economics at Universiti Malaya, I’ve consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning a GPA of 3.8 and making the Dean’s List. My leadership roles, including co-founding TinyEchos—a social enterprise dedicated to nurturing children’s holistic growth—have further refined my communication and instructional skills.
In addition, I’ve organized and facilitated workshops for children, helping them build confidence and understanding in various subjects. I bring a patient, tailored approach to tutoring, ensuring students not only grasp the material but also enjoy the learning process. As a tutor, I am committed to creating a supportive, engaging environment where students can achieve their fullest potential in each subject.
My teaching style is highly supportive and adaptive, centered on understanding each student’s unique learning pace and needs. I prioritize building a strong foundation in each subject—English, Chinese, and Math—while making lessons engaging and interactive. I aim to simplify complex concepts through relatable examples, encouraging students to ask questions and develop critical thinking skills.
In my sessions, I use a blend of structured exercises and creative activities to keep learning enjoyable, aiming to boost students’ confidence along with their academic skills. I believe in a growth mindset, helping students understand that mistakes are part of the learning process. My goal is not only to help students achieve academic success but also to foster a lifelong love for learning.
