Emad KhanProfessional Tutor in Germany for many subjects
No reviews yet
With an experience of four years and more in tutoring/teaching, I have tried and tested many different teaching styles and methodologies which in return has taught me how to assess which kind of style works best for which kind of student, as all students are not the same, each requiring a unique and holistic way of cooperating with. Some like slow-paced tutoring where a concept may need to be revised multiple times with examples before moving on, and some like to move in a fast-paced manner; I can cater to both, as well as every other kind of student that may come in between the two.
I usually teach as if I am your friend from next door so that you can be comfortable in asking questions and such, but I keep you to account as well by making you interact with the lesson and testing you with relevant questions. I make sure you don't fall asleep during our lessons as I try to make the subject interesting for you, and the lesson interactive and fruitful. Lessons are also followed up by relevant homework so that what we study sticks in your mind.
While the students I have taught have seen their grades rise just within months -- and have received high grades as well -- with the way I teach, my ultimate aim is always to prepare you how to think for yourself and be independent in your studies so that not only can you pass your exams with confidence, but can study on your own once you progress to further classes towards university.

Experience
Tutor (Feb, 2023–Present) at EDMENTO (previously TGLI)
Taught in a UK-based company as a freelance tutor to students belonging to a variety of British exam boards (AQA, GCSE, A-LEVELS, etc.), and a variety of grades, for almost six months consistently; I have taught two students from the US schooling system, and once an undergraduate student in Canada as well. Additionally, I taught from 02/2023 till 06/2023, after which I took a break for my university, and now I have started tutoring at the company again.
Core Chemistry Teacher (Feb, 2023–Sep, 2023) at HTS classes
Was assigned as the main chemistry teacher in a university-students online teaching startup in Karachi. Through it, I mostly taught A Levels students from different cities across Pakistan.
Tutorials Teacher (Sep, 2022–May, 2023) at Highbrow College
Was given a class of 200 students split into six sections to tutor in A Levels Chemistry at a high school for six hours a week. Sometimes taught a topic on my own, and at other times taught how to deal with questions and apply knowledge to solving the exam paper; gave assignments and homework on my own to do as well, and prepared worksheets for the students when needed.
Head Tutor (previously just Tutor) (Oct, 2020–Apr, 2022) at Highbrow Peer Tutoring Society
Tutored peers (and sometimes even seniors!) throughout high school during my A Levels for mathematics for a year, and then promoted to the head tutor of the math tutors group due to my success as a tutor.
