I'm Deepa S, a passionate and dedicated special educator with a strong commitment to supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, and Learning Disabilities. My focus lies in building foundational skills in academics, pre-writing, writing, and pre-vocational areas. I take pride in connecting with each child by quickly establishing rapport and navigating their unique strengths.

I believe in tailoring my approach to each child’s specific needs, and in my experience, play-based methods foster the most effective learning. Working closely with pediatric populations, I have collaborated with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other special educators to provide well-rounded support. I am deeply committed to helping each child discover their own potential, firmly believing that every child has unique gifts waiting to be unlocked.

I work with special needs students aged 6-14, including those on the spectrum, with ADHD, and intellectual disabilities. I've also learned to observe and understand each student's strengths, navigate through them, and acknowledge their emotions in the process.
