According to my 8 years experience in teaching for the group between (age 6-12) it is more practical if teacher can start from the bottom level,and using gestures and body language student will not get boring.and also my point of view is it good that if the child can create an image of the lesson at the end of the day .
I use authentic examples with the child
According to there age pictures talk more than words.through pictures child tend to learn more as well as subject related videos.
Doing more exercises and unit test will make the child solid.
Depending on the child I will create an individual plan for each of them with the support of their parents.
Depending on the child I will create a spoken session during the teaching hours. It will make the child confident.
Based on lessons I will ask to deliver what he or she learned from me.
