I am a qualified teaching professional with over 8 years of experience in the field of both academic writing and teaching. I teach students of IB, Cambridge IGCSE, ICSE, and CBSE across different parts of the world including India, Dubai, the United States, and Australia. As a tutor, my core responsibilities include ensuring concept learning, improving their problem-solving abilities, analyzing their overall performance, engaging them through effective teaching methodologies, and others. I take online sessions on platforms, like Zoom or Google Meet, and use available classroom tools for drawing flow charts, sharing images or diagrams, and showing working through calculations. I usually keep the class timings very flexible for both myself and the student.
I take interactive sessions to ensure the presence of my students both physically and mentally throughout the class. I encourage students to ask as many questions as possible so that they are not left with any doubts. By the end of class, I summarize the discussed topic and provide homework to assess the student's performance daily. In the next class, I generally begin asking the student about homework and doubts regarding the last class. Next, I move further with putting up questions related to previous class topics.
