As a student currently studying IAL Edexcel, I believe that a student can achieve great IGCSE results with just proper guidance and a little bit of seriousness alone. My teaching style depends entirely on how students wish to be taught. No biggie
The same technique I use for myself for studying effectively is explaining and understanding the topics bit by bit, solving exam-style questions and lastly, sitting for a chapter-wise test at the end. That's my style of teaching too (No cheating I tell you!)
If a student feels overwhelmed, I can provide a 5 minute break and resume the class. I wish my students to be free with me whenever they're facing problems. Don't worry, its the practice, patience and understanding that counts!
I've taught students before, and being a student myself, I will know if a student is struggling. I will do my utmost best to help them because it's my duty. I'm also pretty laidback but not irresponsible so I hope my students will be like this too~
