I am an MBBS graduate, with a passion of teaching as much as I have a passion for learning. I have also cleared IELTS with 8 CGPA overall and have passed STEP 1 of USMLE.
When it comes to teaching, I rely on three core elements: clarity, engagement, and adaptability.
1. Clarity: I break down complex concepts into manageable parts and focus on presenting information in a straightforward, logical sequence. This helps students build a solid foundation and understand the "why" behind each topic, rather than just memorizing details.
2. Engagement: My approach encourages active learning and interaction. I frequently use questions to check understanding, create examples tailored to each student’s context, and provide relatable analogies, especially in areas like the renal system, where complex processes can benefit from visualization.
3. Adaptability: I always tailor my style based on each student’s strengths, goals, and pace. I listen closely to what works or doesn’t work for you and adjust my methods accordingly, whether by adding more visuals, providing additional resources, or rephrasing explanations.
These principles make my teaching effective because they create a learning environment where students not only grasp the material but also feel confident applying their knowledge. This approach fosters self-reliance, which I believe is key to long-term academic growth.
