I prefer one on one communication with the student. Let us both participate in a certain topic and through that I'll get to know the strengths and weaknesses of the learner so I can help them improve.
I consider use of revision books and past papers as an added advantage since we get to know how questions are asked and set.
Taking of random assessment tests help the students to know an area well understood and one that needs to be revisited.
I always look forward to connecting with my students in the best way possible and not come out intimidating to them. The learners should feel free around me so that they can ask questions freely for a better understanding.
I discourage overworking a student. One step at a time is a key to good results.
I am an open minded teacher ;I open to continuous learning and professional growth.
