With 24 years of experience in education, I have developed a specialized approach to working with students with learning disabilities, focusing on one-on-one guidance that truly values each individual. My priority is to understand the distinct strengths, challenges, and learning styles of each student, using this knowledge to create an environment where they feel safe, supported, and motivated to excel.
I work closely with each child, building trust and fostering a relationship where they feel encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and embrace their learning journey. Every plan I develop is unique, designed to fit the specific needs of the individual student while building confidence, resilience, and a sense of ownership over their learning. Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and specialists, I ensure that the student’s support network is aligned, reinforcing their growth at school and at home.
For me, teaching is more than delivering lessons—it's about being an advocate and a coach, guiding each student to recognize and celebrate their abilities. My goal is not just to help students succeed academically, but to empower them to face challenges with determination and self-assurance, equipping them with skills that will serve them for life. Through personalized guidance and empathetic support, I am dedicated to unlocking the potential in every child I work with.
