I teach student using rudiment of music theory to train them in note reading. I also use different vocal exercise to strengthen their diaphragm and abdominal muscles and extensions of vocal ranges. In my long experience as a vocal instructor, I have students who are now music teachers, choir/band lead singers. Above all, I also have student who joined a national singing competition and became a champion. As a singer and composer, I had the opportunity to represent the Philippines to the Asia Pacific Music Festival singing and performing my original compositions. In 2010, I led my choir to a concert tour in Nara Japan in celebration of 1,300 years of Nara City as ancient capital of Japan. In 2001 I conducted 2 school choirs for their anniversary concerts All these experiences I had are very vital for my teaching career which I want to impart to all my students.
