My name is Elaine and I am a primary school teacher specialising in junior years (year 4- year 6). I taught in state schools in Malta and I am currently teaching at a boys church school in Malta. I also taught at a bi-lingual Montessori kindergarthen in Germany and various English language schools in Malta and in Germany. Private lessons vary depending on the needs of the student. I cater for primary students and do my best to help them succeed in their studies. If they need help with their homework that can also be arranged for too. During the lessons I use a variety of methods to teach from brainstorming, to pictures, to strategies on how to remember the knowledge learnt and retain it so we can apply it again in different scenarios. Organisation is key when learning and this is something which helps students stay on track of their learning. Scaffolding of knowledge is the first step in my teaching method to move forward on this learning journey to help students succeed. Revision is also beneficial to retain what we learnt.

Fee details

    €10–20/hour (US$10.53–21.05/hour)

    Students can pay per lesson. The duration of the lesson depends on the student and the age. This rate is for students who can attend lessons as a group not individually. Individual lessons can also be catered for upon request and depending on the needs of the student at 20 euro per hour.
