I am an Assistant Professor of Urdu in Higher Education in Jammu and Kashmir, with over 15 years of experience in teaching the language and literature at all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. As a native Urdu speaker, I bring a unique depth and cultural richness to my teaching.

My passion lies in poetry, particularly for students in grades IX through XII, where I strive to create an engaging and inspiring learning environment. I encourage students to connect emotionally with the texts, exploring themes of love, loss, and social justice through the works of renowned poets.

In addition to my teaching role, I am also a writer, which allows me to provide fresh insights into literary analysis. As an accomplished speaker and former TV anchor, I employ dynamic presentation techniques to captivate my audience and enhance classroom discussions.

My goal is to empower students not only to understand Urdu literature but also to express themselves eloquently and confidently in the language.
