I am trained professional teacher of English and PE. I am highly motivated by the impact I make in the life of my learners.
Employing various instructional methods such as differentiated instructional strategy, collaborative learning as well as formative assessment in my teaching and coaching has been key in achieving the set goals and objectives. Clear and achievable goals are necessary to help learners acquire skills and realise their abilities. As an instructor and trainer, I engage a variety of interactive teaching methods that motivate my learners. I also create a stimulating and supportive environment for the learners in my class.
Adherence to established health and safety procedures help to maintain safety of my learners both in classroom and outdoor activities. I supervise and lead them where needed. I have over the years developed a set of skills that align with different learning-teaching settings and levels. I am good at designing and implementing lesson plans that cater for diverse learners needs.
I get feedback from continuous assessment.These assessment could be formative, authentic, formal or one that involve learners in setting process.
I continuously support my learners through individualised plans that address specific needs,regularly assess the progress of learners, collaborate with other professionals as well as engaging in open communication with learners. The level of my learners determine the appropriate methodology and styles to use in given contexts.
For completely virtual lessons, I reach out a large group at a go.Embracing technology has created variety of methods, resources and enhanced learners choices and voices.
Assessment of the content learning and retention has also been a very vital consideration in my teaching. I employ a variety of learner assessment to establish their progress such as formative assessment, formal assessment,authentic assessment and also including learners in the assessment process.
I can hardly tell all about the teacher I am and the much I can offer in writing. I believe the practical teaching can help to define me better, if only YOU GIVE ME A CHANCE.
