With over 8 years of experience in mechanical design, CAD, and project management across various industries, I bring a well-rounded skill set ideal for teaching mechanical design and CAD to students.
My background includes hands-on design and prototyping in both startup and large-scale environments, such as my current role as Operations Director at a healthcare startup, where I oversee product development, strategic planning, and quality assurance. I have extensive experience in 2D/3D CAD modeling, drafting, and visualization, as well as in optimizing design for manufacturing (DFM) and additive manufacturing (DFaM).
My teaching approach emphasizes real-world applications, fostering critical thinking and innovation, and guiding students through the complete design cycle, from concept and prototype to finalized product. With certifications in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and experience leading cross-functional teams, I am dedicated to mentoring students in technical expertise, industry standards, and the creative problem-solving skills necessary for success in mechanical design and CAD.
