Hello everyone! I'm Yam dela Torre, a Blues, Jazz, Pop and Metal guitarist for more than 30+ years. I love music and I love playing the guitar. One more thing that I love is sharing my knowledge about music and my instrument. I studied classical, blues and rock guitar at the Greenhills Music Studio from 1988 to 1992 and a few years at the Conservatory of Music at the University of Sto. Tomas. I started playing in the Philippine independent scene in 1990 and have been active since then.

Having a degree in Eduation has been a factor in my success as a teacher through the years. My style is to make sure the student learns the basics skills and theory and to come up with a customized lesson plan based on what the student and I have agreed upon. A big factor of course would be on what music the student is into and the songs they want to learn. Looking forward to meeting you! Thanks!
