I use mixed approach pedagogy which includes interactive question and answer sessions on a platform of choice (Teams, Zoom, Google Classroom), demonstrations, concept video recommendations and detailed concept presentation/ teaching with multiple examples where mathematical principles are involved. I have the ability to adjust pace, vary methodology and reinforce concepts until satisfactory understanding is demonstrated. I have achieved excellent pass-rates at both GCSE and A level in the schools I have taught in hence my role up to being Head of Department (sciences) then head of Academics for the entire school at George.
I have trained several times with Cambridge for both assessment and marking up to A level and am currently involved in research and surveys on how to improve assessment by Cambridge. I have served as an examiner for different Examination boards and have a rich experience teaching in multi-cultural and international schools. I have several students who have graduated in the engineering and medicine fields across Europe, Asia (particularly China) and in Africa.
