I started teaching Guitar in the year 2006 and is the guitarist, composer and founding member of internationally acclaimed Extreme Metal band Undying Inc. After dabbling with the guitar since my high school days, I began to play professionally after forming the band in 2004.
Having grown up on a steady diet of guitar driven metal and progressive music, I learnt from my influences and went on to hone my skills and strengthen my music theory further by studying at the Delhi Music School & Conservatory, earning the trained accolade of a Grade 8 in Western Classical Guitar from the Trinity College Of Music.
My approach to guitar playing is simple yet unorthodox, based on my theory that there are no 'wrong' notes on a guitar fret-board. Bringing together classical guitar ideas incorporated with drop tuned heavy riffs and odd meter percussive time signatures, I work with technically abstract and relentless guitar sound which forms the backbone of Undying Inc.
I believe that the guitar is an instrument that requires lifelong learning commitment and to evolve as a musician one has to constantly work at pushing my playing further.
