I Have worked for more than four decades as a faculty member in Indian as well as in international medical schools for Medical and Paramedical Courses and foundation course for relevant streams.
I am using blended learning, which enables students to learn in part through the delivery of content and instructions via digital and online media with control over time, place, path, or pace, as an effective Teaching-Learning strategy. My experience with Learning Management System (LMS) e.g. Blackboard, Populii, and Moodle serve as a facilitative platform for students to interact with the faculty, which can virtually be a 24 x 7 classroom for group learning and self-assessment activities.
I provide opportunities to students with intuitive thinking and relate the content with real-life situations and supplement the learner with hands-out, presentation, audio & videos with outcome-based assessment sheets immediately after the lecture/presentation.
