I have worked as a language instructor for over 10 years. I have worked with young adults and adults who needed to either improve their conversational skills or their grasp of a language (English and Spanish).
Many times they needed help with their homework or with texts written in English. Many companies issue training material in English.
As I am familiar with American English, British English, as well as with a few expressions used in Australia, I can help students to acquire vocabulary that is not typically used by beginners.
Students who wished to learn Spanish wanted me to help them with some of the rules. Many wished to learn expressions that were used in Venezuela and/or in South America.
I can adapt my style depending on what the student needs. A student who only wishes to improve their conversational skills does not have the same needs as a student who needs to learn how to take the TOEFL.

    I work as a Translator (English-Spanish-English) and as an ESL instructor. I have taught English to adults, and to people wishing to take the TOEFL, and TEFL.

    I have also taught conversation skills to people who were hesitant to strike up a conversation.

    I have also taught Spanish as a second language to expatriates.

Fee details

    US$20–45/hour (US$20–45/hour)

    I charge $20 to those who wish to study general English or Spanish, and to those who wish to improve their conversational skills. I charge up to $40 if you need to take the TOEFL, TEFL, or similar test.
