I'm Gavin Ledgister and from my array of educational experiences I consider myself a self taught educator. From my high school to college years I spent a lot of time teaching my fellow classmates. My methods are simple yet effective, I'm enamored by mathematics and so I'm an enthusiastic problem solver. I find that I get the best results when I allow my students to show me what they know or how they understand a problem presented. From this, I can guide them in unlearning what may be incorrect and if necessary reintroduce the concept to them in a way they that they will understand. In college I majored in Construction Management which to some extent exposes you to the necessary everyday math which has helped to keep my love for math alive. Anyone driven by passion will always push to get where they need to. In this case I aim to foster students on their journeys to becoming straight 'A' pupils and I believe having a passionate teacher will get the student where they need to be. As it stands I have tutored students of all levels from my high school years up this current point and without fail I have gotten consistently good results.
