I always start by asking my student on what are their thoughts on the topic then giving some related topics based on the answer of my students then proceed to lecturing, I want to start from that because i want to catch the attention of my student and to have him amuse by the lecture, I once taught my friend how to play chess and it went well because of that method, we both competed in our school board games events and went for the top spot, what makes me a great teacher is that I'm paying attention to my student not just on the lecture I'm giving but also to what I'm putting to their minds. love the process and always remember why started!!
