As a teacher, I am grounded in the belief that every learner can excel in a supportive and inclusive learning environment. My daily goals are to establish an environment that cultivates curiosity, encourages critical thinking and instills a lifetime love of learning. I view each learner as a unique individual with distinct strengths, interests, and learning needs. My goal is to recognize and celebrate these differences, and to provide the necessary support to help every student reach their full potential.
As a Secondary School Chemistry and Physics Teacher, I see myself as a learning facilitator rather than a transmitter of knowledge. I am committed to deploying diverse teaching strategies that cater to various learning styles. These include inquiry-based learning, hands-on experiments, as well, assigned collaborative class projects. This will make scientific concepts engaging, which will help students build a deep understanding of the subjects.
I believe that education is a collaborative effort that extends beyond the classroom. Thus, I maintain open lines of communication with parents, guardians students to keep them informed of the progress. I seek to incorporate diverse viewpoints and cultural references into my lessons; promoting a global understanding of different perspectives.
