In my teaching, I use the constructivist approach which means I believe that students learn best by actively engaging with the material, building on what they already know, and discovering concepts through exploration and problem-solving. Rather than simply memorizing facts, I guide students to understand and apply what they learn in real-world contexts. This approach helps children develop critical thinking skills, encourages curiosity, and makes learning more meaningful and enjoyable. It’s a method that not only helps students retain information but also empowers them to become confident, independent learners.
Having worked extensively with children from diverse backgrounds, including native Spanish speakers, I’ve developed a strong ability to adapt lessons to meet individual needs while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
