My name is Miss Shelley, and I am excited to apply for the math tutoring position. With a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, I have a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
My tutoring philosophy centers around making math engaging and accessible. I strive to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to ask questions and explore new ideas. I understand that every student has unique challenges, and I tailor my lessons to meet individual needs, whether that’s focusing on problem-solving techniques, exam preparation, or reinforcing fundamental concepts.
I have experience working with students at various levels, and my approach has resulted in significant improvements in their understanding and performance. For example, one of my recent students raised their grade from a C to an A after just a few weeks of targeted tutoring sessions.
I am flexible with scheduling and can offer sessions that fit your timetable, whether that’s after school or on weekends. I genuinely enjoy seeing students develop a love for math and gain confidence in their abilities.
