I am a USAP alumni from the class of 2023, currently taking a gap year before college

My teaching philosophy centers around creating a balanced and healthy learning environment. I believe that education is a journey rather than a destination, emphasizing the importance of personal growth over mere academic achievement. This approach encourages students to strive for their personal best while recognizing that not every student will achieve top grades.I value immediate feedback during lessons, reinforcing positive behaviors with praise like “Good Job!” or “Nicely Done!” This practice not only boosts student morale but also encourages them to take risks in their learning process without fear of failure.

Apart from tutoring I am also passionate about entrepreneurship and I strive to make a difference especially in the lives of young women from remote places. Constantly coming across cases where young are taken advantage of, indulging in early marriages brought me to becoming a Capstone Fellow. I introduced Starr Hair Design School in Chimanimani District which teaches young women hair design and wig making and i was the one teaching the first class in person for free as a way of minimizing early child marriages. During my spare time, I enjoy talking, Art (painting and sketching) and writing
