I am experienced in Early Childhood Development and Foundation Phase
Education and have worked with building foundational skills in students up to university level.

I enjoy taking a creative approach to teaching and learning. I am an advocate of inquiry-based learning and learning through play. I use a transdisciplinary approach to learning so that learning mirrors the real world and fosters the building of critical thinking and transfer thinking skills. I focus on overcoming barriers to learning through the inclusion of perceptual skills and learning strategies. I focus on the holistic development of the student and include lifelong learning skills, life skills, and values.

I am a lifelong learner with a growth mindset. I am open-minded to learning from my students and enjoy watching them grow into independent learners with a life-long zest for learning.
