Hello there, I'm Yohannes. My specialties are teaching Amharic as a second language. Ranging from a TESOL certification from Arizona State University (ASU) to multiple years of Language teaching experience, I have an effective and entertaining teaching skill-set. I use a modern curriculum, that applies Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) models that enable my students to practice with real-life contexts. We also use a textbook that consists of an extensive yet easy to comprehend material, which adequately supports my students in the process. I love tutoring because it allows me to help my students reach their personal and professional goals, and because I think it allows me to learn new things on the way. I understand every student has their own pace and complexity when being tutored and that's something I will always consider. I am a good communicator and really patient in the process of guiding my students while learning the language and experiencing the culture.
