My name is NanXiang. I was born in northern China, where the Mandarin spoken is among the most standard in the country. I passed the Chinese Putonghua Proficiency Test and have experience working and living abroad. Currently, I live in China and have two years of experience teaching Chinese, primarily in one-on-one lessons. My students come from various countries and range in age from 6 years old to adults.
In our class, we will talk about your goals. No matter if you want to learn basic Chinese, Chinese conversation, or reading comprehension, I can help you. I will create a course just for you based on your age and how much Chinese you already know, making your Chinese learning journey enjoyable and achievable. I will also provide you with some popular courses like YCT, HSK, traveling Chinese or Business Chinese to help you reach your goals.
I organize my courses into four main categories:
1. Children: I use simple textbooks such as YCT and Chinese, as well as pictures and videos to keep them engaged. Since children are easily distracted, this method helps them focus and learn effectively through fun games.
2. Test preparation for teenagers and adults: I use HSK or other related teaching materials, explain the key points, and transform them into engaging stories to improve understanding and memory. In addition, I recommend playing some interesting Chinese videos and songs after the class to keep motivated.
3. Professionals: For adults who need Chinese in their professional lives, I use Business Chinese textbooks and incorporate professional vocabulary into the lessons. We practice work-related conversations and writing, helping to communicate effectively with colleagues and handle documents and emails. My personal experience working abroad enables me to understand and deal with these challenges effectively.
4. Travel or Hobby Enthusiasts: If you plan to travel, live in China, or just want to learn Chinese as a hobby, I offer short courses that focus on daily conversation skills.
