I am a Licensed Professional Teacher with years of teaching experience in English, Math, Science, Art and Music. I taught Koreans, Chinese, Russians and Arabs in Global School here in the Philippines. I hold Bachelor's Degree of Education and I have a deep love for children and passion to shape young minds. I'm willing to be a private tutor or home tutor.
Meanwhile, I learned various teaching methods and philosophies that will help me to succeed in my professional development. It helps me to engage the students in life-long learning and provide quality education for them. For example, there are essential methods that I usually utilize in the classroom, such as kinesthetic learning approach, CLIL method, inquiry￾based learning approach and technology integration. First, the kinesthetic method, some learners absorb information best when it is presented through hands-on. Kinesthetic learning is a great modern teaching method for all learners because it gives students more ways to explore
concepts and get hands-on, real-life experiences in their learning environment that translate to better learning outcomes. For instance, letting the students work with others, provide a class activity where body movements are involved, roleplays, motivational games, flash cards, and promote multi-sensory learning experiences for deep learning as they learn through ‘doing’. On the other hand, I utilize the CLIL method that stands for content and language integrated learning, through this method, students not only learn a second language but also learn about a topic totally new to them. For example, when my students learn the English subject, I always make sure that I associate my lessons to other field subjects, history, science, art or music linked
through the medium of a foreign language, by stating how the content will be addressed in such a way that is applied for every learner, regardless the proficiency level. Also, by introducing
relevant vocabulary and functional language related to a given subject.
Foster a classroom culture where it is safe to ask questions and express curiosity, and where your students actively engage in discussions. It was important for me to create a comfortable classroom environment as I wanted to connect with them wholeheartedly during the class without sense of doubt and hesitancy among my students. Also, this strategy empowers students by giving them control
over their learning journey. This method helps me to assess my students' learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses to create individualized learning plans.
