Hi. I'm Victoria Sekulic but my nickname is Vicky. I'm married and I have one kid, she is 5 years old. I am a Filipino but I lived in Serbia.
I'm very patient and understanding.
I was teaching phonics and reading for the beginners for around 7 years. I also taught math for the beginners. Right now, I have once in a week english tutor for a grade 6 student.
I have expertise in teaching phonics sounds then once the kid masters the phonics sounds, I introduce reading which is blending 2 letters sounds, 3 letters sounds and so on. I teach using pictures and make sure kids listen and pay attention in order for them to remember the sounds and the letters. I made sure that are interested to my lesson by making colorful Visual activities and be friendly for the kids. What makes me a great teacher is that when I see that my students are learning then that reflects me to be effective teacher. I made sure that before the lesson ends my students has progress through assessment like by giving them quizzes or oral recitation.
