My techniques are usually 1:1 to small group learning and it is a student-centered learning experience, where I would encourage the students to respond and participate in the lesson actively. Also, I do encourage my students to respond to open-ended questions and I would prepare materials that would help foster their interest towards the subject. If it is a small group learning, I would foster study relationship between each of the students joining the small group learning.

The typical length of my lesson is around 45 minutes where I would focus on tutorial sessions at the first 15-20 minutes and the remainder minutes would be students working on the task by their own. I would provide some online slides for them to work on their task and access them based on their understanding and skillset of their English language before handing them worksheets of their own level and pace. Most of the time, I would encourage the students to work beyond their capabilities.

As an educator for 8 years, I have worked in several international schools and kindergartens, particularly The British International School Kuala Lumpur and The International School@Parkcity Kuala Lumpur, dealing with several students of varied backgrounds and learning needs. I am a certified Apple Teacher and also I possessed a Bachelor in Education (Hons) and also a Diploma in LearningDisorder and Child Psychology.

My English lessons are catered for students who are at Upper Primary (between Year 4 to 6)- which is between 9 to 11 years of age and also my lessons do train the students for the IGCSE/GCSE/O-Levels.

  • Personal Learning Assistant/ Shadow Aide (Apr, 2023–Jun, 2024) at The British International School Kuala Lumpur
    During that time,I had coached a student with learning difficulties and possibly Autism spectrum for Years 8 to 9 in British International School Kuala Lumpur from May 2023 to June 2024 where I would be required to work together with the clients and stakeholders on some of the better strategic plans to improve the child's classroom learning, especially learning plans and weekly reports, as well as learning resources. Apart from that, when the child is away from the school for Term 1 (August to December) and occasionally during the holidays, I would work with the child on hybrid through online learning where I would prepare the materials which was provided by the school to help keep her updated in her subjects.

    During that time, I had coached a student individually through contract with Attention Deflict Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism for Year 1 to 2 from August 2022 to April 2023 in St John International School Kuala Lumpur where I would be required to work together with the clients and stakeholders on some of the better strategic plan to improve the child's classroom learning, especially learning plans and weekly reports, as well as learning resources
  • Floating Classroom Teaching Assistant (KS1)/ Permanent Classroom Teaching Assistant Year 5/6 (KS2) (Aug, 2019–Mar, 2022) at The International School @ParkCity Kuala Lumpur
    During my time as a permanent classroom assistant for Year 5/6 from 2020 to onwards,I've occasionally taught lessons, managed collaborative and individual learning support group sessions for Mathematics, English, IPC and also had been assigned to mark and document students work for their Mathematics and English lessons. Other than that, I've conducted 1:1 reading support sessions with the students of SEN and learning support needs and also was trained to document data such as standardized test scores and house points collection.I am also trained to liase with the students, teachers, parents and other peers to ensure the progress and task completion of the students and during the lockdown, I've facilitated group discussion and work review with the students.
    Earlier on during my time as a floating Classroom Assistant from 2019 to 2020, I've worked under emergency cover settings from Receptions to Year 5.In the first lockdown period,I've taught and facilitated art and storytelling sessions and online 1:1 reading sessions among the KS1 students which I've too assigned book bands. I've also been facilitated to provide assistance for field trips for student groups in Year 1,Year 3 and also Year 7 and also had facilitated collaborative learning support sessions among Year 1 in relevance to their phonic understanding.
    Overall, I've been able to apply effective classroom management among the students of the primary school level. Apart from that, I've been granted strong leadership and organizational skills which could help bring a company forward and also I've been trained to brainstorm ideas that is effective to the students learning journey and progress.

    During my time at Peter and Jane Mutiara Damansara, I've taught and facilitated art and craft lessons, storytelling sessions, show and tell and mathematic lessons occasionally for Nursery Level (3/ 4 Years old). I've followed up with the curricular standards according to the Montessori learning environment, handled after school activities and school holiday programs involving art and craft,written and applied appropriate lesson plans and classroom management techniques among students of Nursery level (3/ 4 Years). Besides that, I've written daily review and reports based on lesson planning and organization,applied research on appropriate lessons for students around the Nursery Level (3/ 4 Years) and organized educational activity based on festivals (Deepavali)

    During that brief period at Persatuan Dylexic Malaysia, I've facilitated support group writing and reading sessions. I've also applied knowledge and understanding of classroom control and management skills for students of SEN concerns (Dyslexia) and had occasionally conduct art and craft lessons and fun game sessions

    During my time at Tadika Puncak Ilmu (Q-Dees) at June 2016 and January 2017 respectably, I've organized a 1:1 daily reading sessions for students for assessment and had guided and assist students with concerns on subjects such as Maths, English and Writing. I've also taught and managed a classroom in case of emergencies (teacher absentee) and had applied technology according to the school curriculum system.

    During my time in Punjagga Kreatif Sdn Bhd, I've collaborated and liase closely with the production company and channel distributor (Go Asean) on the production progress and deadline,follow up and oversee the progress of the television series production including Off The Hook and Tee Up,scouted,recruit and liaise with script writers, talents and editors for documentary and had organized strict production schedule for documentary.Besides that, I've also applied strong video editing skills, graphic design, 3D animation and scriptwriting for working project, editing skills and proofreading on pitching documents and official letters to other production companies

    During that time, I've interned in the Animation Department for a show (LolliRocks) for Disney Channel.
    Therefore I'm able to apply knowledge prior to 2D animation skills (digital drawing and in between animation),adhere to deadline meet of task under critical settings depending on the complexity on the animation details,assigned to spot detail and flaws of the animation cel,learned how to use ToonBoom and also had pitched a film/television project for the company
