Hi, I'm Pat! My goal is to help you learn and understand physics and calculus. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Washington where I took many, many physics courses that involved advanced calculus techniques. I found myself enjoying helping my classmates understand concepts, which led me to tutoring. I have a year of experience tutoring a wide range of levels of physics and calculus, from AP students in high school to 3rd year students needing help with quantum mechanics. I am currently pursuing a master's in astronomy at Leiden University. I continue to learn more math and physics every day and I want to help you learn as well. I like to prepare for my tutoring sessions beforehand by asking my students to send me topics or specific problems they want help with. This allows me to prepare a teaching plan accordingly. I also am a huge proponent of using outside resources like youtube to learn, so I often recommend specific videos or channels to my students, as there are visualizations of concepts I am not skilled enough to replicate. I hope I can help you reach your full academic potential!
