I am a student at Shortwood Teacher's College currently in my 3rd year, studying math and science at the primary level. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong passion for both subjects, as I believe they play a crucial role in shaping young minds. My studies have equipped me with the foundational knowledge to engage students in these core areas effectively, using various teaching methods tailored to suit diverse learning styles.
At Shortwood Teacher’s College, the emphasis on student-centered learning has been invaluable. I have been exposed to modern teaching strategies, including inquiry-based learning, technology integration, and differentiated instruction, all of which I plan to incorporate into my future classroom. My goal as a future educator is to inspire a love for learning in my students, particularly in math and science, by making these subjects engaging and accessible.
