Hello 👋 my Name is Danish Waqas
I have had the privilege of teaching the Quran with Tajweed for over seven years, dedicating myself to guiding students toward mastering the art of Quranic recitation. My teaching philosophy centers around more than just learning to read the Quran — it is about understanding the profound significance of Tajweed, the detailed rules that govern proper pronunciation, and its role in preserving the sanctity of the Quranic text.
Each student is taken through a journey where they learn to appreciate the delicate nuances of Quranic Arabic. From the correct articulation of letters (Makharij) to mastering the rules of elongation (Madd), pauses (Waqf), and the various sounds that differentiate meanings, I ensure that every learner is equipped to recite the Quran with precision, fluency, and a deep sense of spirituality. I emphasize the importance of discipline and attentiveness to detail, helping students understand the spiritual and linguistic beauty of the Quran through Tajweed.
Throughout my years of teaching, I have seen how the proper recitation of the Quran can enhance one's connection to the text and foster a more profound spiritual experience. My aim is to cultivate a sense of humility, reverence, and connection to the divine in each student, helping them to not only read but to recite the Quran with the utmost care and respect, in a manner that honors its divine origin. Through this, I strive to inspire in my students a lifelong love for the Quran, as well as a deep understanding of the responsibilities that come with preserving its linguistic and spiritual integrity.
