With a stint in teaching that spans more than a decade, I have been able to develop a skill-set that I can use to walk my students through some interesting curriculum-based learning models. Once they are able to grasp and own the concept modelled before them, they can effortlessly reproduce similar results with little or no guidance.

The May/June 2024 IGCSE speaks volumes. I prepped six students for first language English exam. I had a very short time --because the intervention started in March --yet within the space of three months, their success prospects tipped so that 1 made an A, 3 achieved Bs and 1 made a C. For 2025 IGCSE literature, we're reading Wole Soyinka's Death and the King's Horseman. We have completed Achebe's Things Fall Apart and Nancy Cato's The Road. More to come!

I think I am an outstanding teacher because I bring in some elements of drama and enthusiasm to teaching. Be informed --I am IGCSE-certified and currently teach years 9 - 11 and A-levels.
